Player Settings

This section controls the behaviours of the players, their health, and their interactions with other players.

Here, you can customise the following settings to your liking, below are all the options and a summary each one.


Quick reference

For True PvE Mode, change the following settings: - PvP Mode: OFF - PvB Mode: OFF

Option
Description

Immortal Server

Toggles damage on the server.

Game Mode

Selects a game mode for the server to run. NOTE: changing this option will cause a full map/BP wipe!

PvP Mode

Toggles PvP mode, meaning players can deal damage to each other.

PvB Mode

Toggles PvB mode, meaning players can deal damage to other players' buildings.

Infinite Ammo

Toggles infinite ammunition for weapons.

Full Starting Magazine

Toggles a full magazine when you start with a weapon.

Max Health

Controls the maximum health of a player.

Starting Health (Max)

Controls the maximum starting health for a player when they wake up.

Starting Health (Min)

Controls the minimum starting health for a player when they wake up.

Max Team Size

Controls the maximum number of players that can be part of a single team.

Limit Building Authorisations

Toggle to limit the amount of authorisations on a Tool Cupboard to the current Team Size.

Limit Turret Authorisations

Toggle to limit the amount of authorisations on Auto Turrets to the current Team Size.

Limit Team Locks

Toggle to limit the amount of authorisations on a Code/Key Locks to the current Team Size.

Immortal Server

Toggles damage on the server.

Input

Toggle-able, default OFF.

Notes

If disabled, players cannot die under any circumstances.

Restart Required?

Yes


Game Mode

Selects a game mode for the server.

Input

Drop-down, options are:

  • Vanilla

  • Easy Mode

  • Hard Mode

Notes

Vanilla

  • This game mode is the default. All settings remain unchanged.

Easy Mode

  • This gamemode includes the following features:

    • Loot Saving

      • Half of your items will remain on your corpse until you retrieve them

      • These items cannot be looted by other players

    • Reclaim Station

      • Located at the Outpost and Bandit Camp

      • You can reclaim half of your lost items from here when you respawn

      • Items will despawn after 2 hours

    • Safe Zone Respawning

      • You can respawn at the Outpost of Bandit Camp

      • (NOTE: This only works if you are not marked as hostile)

Hard Mode

  • This gamemode includes the following features:

    • Added:

      • Limit of 5 sleeping bags and beds

      • Local chat only for messages and gestures (100m range)

    • Removed:

      • Compass

      • Crawling when wounded

      • Global Message

      • Team System

      • Map

      • Safe Zones

      • Scientists and Turrets at the Outpost & Bandit Camp

      • Mission NPCs

Restart Required?

Yes

A full wipe (including map, save, and blueprints) is required to activate or deactivate a server gamemode.


PvP Mode

Toggles PvP (Player vs Player) mode, meaning players can deal damage to each other.

Input

Toggle-able, default ON.

Notes

When deactivated, players can still take damage from NPCs and animals, as well as environmental damage.

PvB Mode

Toggles PvB (Player vs Building) mode, meaning players can deal damage to other players' buildings.

Input

Toggle-able, default ON.

Notes

When activated, players can still deal damage to building blocks that they have created, regardless of TC authorisation.

Restart Required?

No


Infinite Ammo

Toggles infinite ammunition for weapons.

Input

Toggle-able, default OFF.

Notes

The ammo count in your magazine will not go down.

Restart Required?

Yes


Full Starting Magazine

Toggles a full magazine when you start with a weapon.

Input

Toggle-able, default OFF.

Notes

The default starting ammunition is less than half of a full mag.

Restart Required?

Yes


Max Health

Controls the maximum health of a player.

Input

Any number, but this value is clamped to a maximum of 3.4×10³² (essentially infinite).

Notes

This can be useful for testing, as well as “Juggernaut” gamemodes.

Restart Required?

Yes


Starting Health (Max)

Controls the maximum starting health for a player when they wake up.

Input

Any number, but this value is clamped to a maximum of 3.4×10³² (essentially infinite).

Notes

The default is 60HP.

Set both (min) and (max) to the same number to guarantee that health upon wake-up.

Restart Required?

Yes


Starting Health (Min)

Controls the minimum starting health for a player when they wake up.

Input

Any number, but this value is clamped to a maximum of 3.4×10³² (essentially infinite).

Notes

The default is 50HP.

Set both (min) and (max) to the same number to guarantee that health upon wake-up.

Restart Required?

Yes


Max Team Size

Controls the maximum amount of players that can be part of a single team.

Input

Any number, but this value is clamped to a maximum of 10

Notes

The default is 8.

This can be useful for solo/duo/trio servers.

Set to 1 to disable teams entirely.

Restart Required?

Yes


Limit Building Authorisations

Toggle to limit the amount of authorisations on a Tool Cupboard to the current Team Size.

Input

Toggle-able, default OFF.

Notes

This can be useful for solo/duo/trio servers.

Setting Team Size to 2, and toggling this ON means only 2 people can be authorised on a Tool Cupboard at one time.

Restart Required?

Yes


Limit Turret Authorisations

Toggle to limit the amount of authorisations on Auto Turrets to the current Team Size.

Input

Toggle-able, default OFF.

Notes

This can be useful for solo/duo/trio servers.

Setting Team Size to 2, and toggling this ON means only 2 people can be authorised on an Auto Turret at one time.

Restart Required?

Yes


Limit Team Locks

Toggle to limit the amount of authorisations on a Code/Key Locks to the current Team Size.

Input

Toggle-able, default OFF.

Notes

This can be useful for solo/duo/trio servers.

Setting Team Size to 2, and toggling this ON means only 2 people can be authorised on a Lock at one time.
