Player Moderation Actions
The Player Actions menu is located within the Player List.
When selecting a player, Moderators/Admins/Owners have a suite of options for dealing with players who they feel are breaking rules.
The Player Actions menu does not require a prior reporting action, and can be executed at any time.
These options are:
Report Player
This option will send a report to the Admins/Owners, so that a disciplinary action may be taken and a report can be made for tracking purposes.
Block Player
This option will completely block communication between the target player and yourself, so that they are not able to communicate with you in any way.
Kick Player
This option is identical to the option presented to Admins in the [Inbox], but does not require a report prior to taking action.
This option temporarily boots the player from the server, usually as a warning to the target player.
The target is able to rejoin the server after being kicked, probably with a more humble attitude.
Disable Communication
This option is identical to the option presented to Admins in the [Inbox], but does not require a report prior to taking action.
This action will disable Voice Chat, Quick Chat (Text), or both.
Admins can undo this by re-selecting this option and selecting [Enable Communication].
Give Warning
This option is identical to the option presented to Admins in the [Inbox], but does not require a report prior to taking action.
This option will issue a warning to the target player, which will be applied to them the next time they join the server.
The target will receive a pop-up on join telling them that they have been warned, and informs them that they may be banned if they continue breaking rules.
Teleport
This option allows the Admin to immediately teleport to the target players location, so that the Admin can actively monitor the target player. (This is best used in conjunction with GodMode/NoClip/Vanish)
The Admin also has the option to teleport a target to themselves, potentially to put them in “jail” or give them a verbal warning through in-game chat.
Kick and Ban
In addition to kicking a player, this option will also ban the player for a chosen amount of time.
The current options for timescales are:
6 Hours
24 Hours
1 Week
Permanent
Like standard bans on official servers, the player will be given a popup telling them that they have been banned from that particular server, but they will be free to join other Community Servers if they choose.
Change role
Here, you have the option to promote/demote players to different levels.
Promote to VIP
Promote to Moderator
Promote to Admin
Promote to Owner (Owners only)
Practice care with this command, as multiple owners on a server can expose your account to being demoted by someone else. This can be reverted through the G-Portal page if you are the true Owner)
Players who have been promoted will immediately have access to the features of that level, without having to rejoin.
Spectate
This option allows Mods/Admins/Owners to spectate the chosen player.
Only Admins/Owners can manipulate targets’ items, like dropping items from their inventory, moving them around, or deleting them completely.
Moderators have a more basic Spectate mode, and they are not allowed to manipulate items.
